Emeco Working With Hassalls To Move Mining Equipment

This month, Hassalls is thrilled to announce a new specialist fixed price resale contract with Emeco, Australia’s largest mining equipment rental business. Emeco will now outsource the sale of all their surplus heavy earthmoving and ancillary equipment exclusively to Australia’s leading resources auctioneers, Hassalls.

Working together we’ll be an industry powerhouse that can supply, service, value and disperse gear for mine owners and operators across Australia. Hassalls’ ability to accurately value equipment, coupled with our deep understanding of the industry will ensure Emeco maximise the sale value of assets from across the group (the merger of Emeco, Orionstone and Andy’s Earthmoving).

For Hassalls, this new agreement with Emeco means a number of ‘firsts’ for our business and provides some real benefits for buyers.

A number of ‘firsts’

Our commitment to exceptional customer service has led to a number of new resources and projects as this venture expands our business and strengthens our ties with the mining industry.

The Hassalls team in Western Australia will continue to grow with a new resource dedicated to Emeco, and will assist with transport and freight arrangements, as well as provide expertise in the demobilisation process.

Working in tandem this disposal process will drive considerable focus and sales opportunity into the Middle East and West Africa as both company’s combined buyer contacts provide unique channels and opportunity’s in this area. Hassalls has very recently sold packages into Dubai and Africa where demand for 100T size units and parts is very strong.

In a big win for clients seeking to purchase from a comprehensive range of equipment, the contract with Emeco will allow Hassalls to expand the catalogues on our website, which will now host the largest range of Australia’s mining equipment for sale.

Benefits to buyers

It’s nothing but good news for buyers who can expect to receive significant benefits from this new contract as they now have access to a good range of earthmoving units for sale from all around Australia of predominantly Tier 1 Caterpillar branded assets.

All sales will be on a fixed price basis with package deals being negotiated giving buyers comfort in knowing exactly how much they will pay with the ability to buy today rather than wait for an auction.

Access to Emeco’s stock will also give Hassalls the opportunity to put together packages of mid-size mining, quarrying and civil construction equipment to suit buyer needs. This will mean greater flexibility and options for buyers including small to medium sized mining contractors, civil engineering and farmers looking to buy.
